Had seven children and seven were living. Was widowed in 1893.

Mary married Marcus Turbyfill son of Wesley Turbyfill and Margaret on 6 Mar 1872 in Lincoln Co, NC. Marcus was born on 27 Apr 1840 in Lincoln Co, Nc. He died on 2 Aug 1893 in Wynnewood, Garvin Co, Ok. He was buried in Oaklawn Cemetery, Wynnewood, Garvin Co, OK.

Joined the Confederate Army, Sergeant in Comany B, 23rd Regiment, enlisted 23 May 1861. Captured at Gettysburg in 1863 and confined at Fort Deleware and later transferred to Lookout Point, Maryland Camp. While in prison he carved tiny cups and saucers from peach seeds (pair now in museum). Transferred on February 18, 1865 to Boulvare's and Cox Wharves, where he was offered in a prisoner exchange.

In 1884, Marcus and his wife, Emma Hoover their children moved to Indian Territory, OK not far from his brothers William and Julius.

Marcus and Mary had the following children:

  55 F iv Ida Turbyfill was born on 15 Jul 1880.

One source said Ida Turbyfill was the wife of Wallace, I have found no proof of this so far.
        Ida married Wallace Samuel Puckett son of Jonathan Blair Puckett and Mathilda Jane Goff. Wallace was born on 3 Oct 1866 in Powder Mills, Hart, Ky. He died on 16 Mar 1950.

I have found no proof that Wallace was married to Ida Turbyfill.

Wallace and Ida raised their neice and nephew, Sara Ruth and Carl, after their mother died in 1906. Wallace was the brother of their father, Stephen Puckett.

Appears on the Collin Co, TX, Precinct 1, 1880 census, page 81D, as a child.
Appears on the 1900 census, Little River Twp, Cleveland Co, Ok.
The 1910 OK, Cleveland Co, Little River Twp, says Wallace and Ida had been married for 12 years, and was the first marriage for both of them. His father, Jonathan Puckett, is living with them, also niece and nephew, Sarah Ruth and Carl Puckett, children of his brother, Stephen.
