Garfield County Genealogists, Inc. is a non-profit organization, which uses all research fees to build and maintain a collection of records relevant to family history research in Enid, Garfield County, and the surrounding areas of northern Oklahoma. Our organization maintains a "Baby Talk" file of all births in Enid since 1978, as taken from Enid newspapers, and we also own a large collection of obituary records taken from local newspapers, with a cross index to cemetery locations. We have extensive records of cemeteries in Garfield County and surrounding counties that we can research for you. In addition, we keep files of genealogical records, such as a surname file, pedigree and family histories provided by present and past members of our society in our archives.
Many of the members of our organization have extensive researching experience, and will provide you with a quick, efficient response to your research requests. Also, with our large repository of databases and documents, and the many locally accessible sources that are available to them, they have a high rate of success at producing results. Please consider using our expertise when you need help in your research!
Our volunteer researchers have many sources of information at their disposal, and will go to great lengths to find your information for you!
