MEMBERSHIP

An individual/family membership in Garfield County Genealogists, Inc. is $15.00 per year. All members receive a year's subscription to Roots & Branches magazine and The Searcher monthly newsletter, and queries are free to members.  Regular Members are those living in Garfield County and adjoining counties of Oklahoma.  Associate Members are those not qualifying above, and are non-voting.  Regular meetings are held monthly, and workdays are held every Tuesday at the Library.

Workshops are sponsored by the Society annually and are open to anyone interested in attending. A training program for anyone interested in learning how to research their family tree is also held periodically.

Field Trips are organized by members to attend other workshops; the State Archives in Oklahoma City; to Salt Lake City for research; or other points of genealogical or historical interest

An annual family picnic or cookout is held every summer at one of the city parks, or at the home of one of the members.
