    The Major County Historical Society, of Fairview, Oklahoma is an independent organization with tremendous local support.  Located on Highway 58, on the east edge of Fairview, they are preserving historic buildings, artifacts, farm machinery, and other equipment.  They also have a working farm, and sponsor antique farming exhibitions.  To read more about their activities, visit their website.
