He is buried at Warm Springs, Randolph Co., AR (Isom's Field). Isham Russell served as Randolph Co. Judge 1874-1876.

Matthias Mock b. 1779 Cabarrus Co., NC, the son of Thomas Mock, Sr. and Mary Weinkauff. Matthias, d. Jan 1842 AR. He married Leah Shaver there [Mud Cr] about 1817, this union was the parents of four children before the mother died about 1827. He married Margaret Hill Mansker in 1828. Matthias was Mud Creek postmaster in 1836 after residing there for about 21 years.
Leah Shaver b. 1773 in Mecklenburg Co., the daughter of John Shaver and Mary Blackwelder (NC; d. 1827 AR) John Shaver mentioned on pg 213 of The History of Randolph Co., AR, "John Shaver settled in this community in 1823, coming here from Georgia") Other wives of Matthias Mock: (2) Margaret Mansker (3) Anna Amanda Rasberry.
