Alice married Farrield C. "Jerry" Orrell son of G. D. Orrell and Gladys Jett on 16 Jul 1938 in Enid, Garfield, Ok. Farrield was born on 4 Apr 1917 in Chickasha, Grady, Ok. He died on 15 Jan 1985 in Longmont, Co. He was buried on 18 Jan 1985 in Mt. View Cem, Co.

F.C. "JERRY" ORRELL
F.C. "Jerry" Orrell, 525 15th Ave., No. 48, died yesterday at Longmont
United Hospital. He was 67.
He was born April 4, 1917, in Chickasha, Okla., the son of G. D. ORRELL
and Gladys Jett Orrell. He married Alice Cutter in 1938 in Enid, Okla.
Mr. Orrell was employed for 20 years in the oil drilling business. The
Orrells moved to Longmont in 1950 and he then began working for Western
Foundries as a maintenance foreman.
Mr. Orrell was active in several organizations and did volunteer work in
the community. He was Noble Grand and District Deputy Grand Master for I.O.O.F
No. 29; Columbine Lions Club Lion of the Year for '80-84; a member of Rebekah
Lodge No. 16; and a member of First Christian Church. In 1978 he was nominated
Volunteer of the Year for his work with the sick and disabled.
He is survived by his wife of Longmont; two sons, Jerry (Linda) Orrell and
Larry Orrell, both of Longmont; two daughters, Mrs. John (Lorraine) Carlson,
Longmont, and Mrs. Don (Lana) Martin, Chickasha, Okla.; two brothers, Kenneth
Orrell, Marshall, Okla. and Pete Hitt, Powell, Wyo.; a sister, Patricia Grimes,
Enid, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and his step-mother Elizabeth Orrell, Enid,
Okla. He was preceded in death by one grandchild.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, at First Christian Church. The
Rev. Dale McCann of First Christian will officiate. Interment will be in
Mountain View Cemetery. Committal services wil be by I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 29.
Lewellen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Contributions may be made in his memory to Longmont United Hospital Life
Line, care of Lewellen Funeral Home.
FROM A SECOND NEWSPAPER ARTICLE: Services were held Friday morning at the
First Christian Chuch for F. C. "Jerry" Orrell. The Rev. Dale McCann
officiated. Music was provided by organist Stewart Golden and soloist Arnold
Turner.
Pallbearers were Carl MacOubrie, Sam Hoffman, Don Jorgensen, Tony Martin,
Lyndall Martin and Franny Frazier. Honorary pallbearers were Reggie Phelps,
Ernie Davies, Leo Dike, Gail Harkin, Doyle Smith and Mike Stewart.
Interment was at Mountain View Cemetery, with burial rites by the I.O.O.F.
Lodge No. 29, Lewellen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Florence married Delmer Earl Scott son of Alerich Owen Scott and Melissa Ellen "Ella" Lawson on 30 Jul 1924. Delmer was born on 1 Oct 1901. He died on 17 Sep 1985 in Enid, Garfield, Ok. He was buried in Covington Cem, Garfield, Ok.

DELMER E. SCOTT

Services for Delmer E. Scott, 83, Douglas, who died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 1985,
were held Friday at the Douglas Christian Church with the Rev. Coy Donakey and Rev. H.E. Jones officiating. Burial was at the Covington Cemetery under the direction of the Henniger-Allen Funeral Home.

Scott was born Oct. 1, 1901, in Rich Hill, Mo., to Aleric and Melissa Lawson
Scott. He moved with his parents when he was 4 years old to a farm in the
Covington-Douglas area. He attended school near Douglas. On July 30, 1924, he
married Florence Cutter in Douglas. The couple established their home on a farm northeast of Douglas.

He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and four sisters. Survivors
include his wife; three sons, John Scott, Tampa, Fla., Donald and Wayne Scott, both of Douglas; two daughters, Mrs. J. H. (Earlene) Moore, Jr., and Mrs. Patty LeGrand, Enid; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Ivan Scott, Salt Lake City, Utah,and a sister, Rachel Rhoades, Rosell, N.M.

Memorials in his name may be made to the Douglas Christian Union church with
the funeral home acting as custodian of the fund.

CHARLIE CUTTER
The Funeral for Charlie Everett Cutter, 80 will be Monday at St. John's
Lutheral Church, Covington. The Rev. Carton E. Kjergaard will officiate. Burialwill be in the Covington Cemetery under direction of Henniger-Allen Funeral
Home, Enid. The casket will be open at the funeral home, then at the church
until service time.

He was born Sept. 24, 1912, on the family farm where he has always lived and
died Friday, January 22, 1993, at his home south of covington. He farmed,
worked in the oil field and helped build some of the local elevators. He was a
membret of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are one son, Everett of Douglas; and four sisters, Opal Weller of
Denver, Colo., Donna Marie Gibbs and Dora Best of Sullivan, Ind., and Florence
Scott of Enid. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona, and one sister.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the church.

Charlie married (2) Leona Starkle on 20 Jun 1955. Leona was born on 13 Dec 1911 in Fairmont, Garfield, Ok. She died on 1 Jan 1978 in Covington, Garfield, Ok. She was buried on 4 Jan 1978 in Covington Cem, Garfield, Ok.

OBITUARY
MRS. LEONA CUTTER
Closed casket services for Mrs. Leona Cutter, 66, of Douglas, will be 2 p.m.
Wednesday in St. John's Lutheran Church in Covington with the Rev. Carlton
Kjergaard, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Covington Cemetery by
Henniger-Allen Funeral Home. Mrs. Cutter died early Sunday morning, Jan 1,
1978.

She was born December 13, 1911, in Fairmont and in 1955 she married Charlie
Cutter in Douglas. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, St. John's
Ladies Aid and the Covington East Side Home extension Club. She was preceded in
death by two brothers and one sister.

Surviving are her husband of the home; one stepson, Everett Ray Cutter of the
home; one sister, Velma Kroll of Fairmont; and 10 nieces and nephews. Memorials
may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church with Henniger-Allen acting as
custodian of the fund.

528. Eula Fern Cutter (John Ezra , Henry Munson , Richard , Samuel , Ephraim , Richard , William , Richard , Samuel ) was born on 17 Jul 1921 in Douglas, Garfield, Ok. She died on 29 Dec 1988 in Hayes, Ks. She was buried on 2 Jan 1989 in Russell City Cem, Ks.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Gage, Englewood, Colo., and Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Hale,
Rt. 2, Russell, Colo. have purchased the Russell Rest Home in Russell, Colo.
They took over operation of the business June 1. There are 13 patients at the
home.

Charles Gage is the son of Mrs. Ed Sallee and Mrs. Gage is the former Eula Fern
Cutter. J. C. Hale is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Hale, Marshall and Mrs. Hale
will be remembered as Marthella Sallee.

Gage, who is a laboratory technician, has been employed at a Veterans hospita.
Mr. and Mrs. Gage and Mr. and Mrs. Hale plan to operate the business.

EULA FERN GAGE
Eula Fern Gage, 67, died Thursday, December 28, 1988,in a Hayes, Kan.,
hospital. Her funeral was held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan 2, in the first Baptist Church with the
Rev. Allen Phillips officiating. Burial was held in the Russell City Cemetery
under the direction of Pohlman's Mortuary.

She was born July 17, 1921, at Covington. She married Charles A. Gage, July 8,
1940, in Covington. They were administrators and owners of two Russell nursing
homes.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Rodney of Russell; a brother, Charlie
Cutter of Covington; four sisters, Florence Scott of Covington, Dora Best and
Donna Marie Gibbs, both of Sullivan, Ind., and Opal Weller of Denver; and four
grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Russell Regional Hospital or First
Baptist Church.

Eula married Charles A. "Alf" Gage on 8 Jul 1940 in Covington, Garfield, Ok.
